In summer in livestock buildings excessive temperature rise often occurs. While lasting for a long time it can lead to hyperthermia, commonly known as heat stress, manifested by a decrease in productivity and decreased reproductive activity of animals and a decrease in appetite. In extreme cases, excessive temperature can lead to their death.
In order to minimize the impact of high temperatures on the pig production rates, the air cooling systems are used more and more often to effectively reduce the temperature.
