Breeding of duck broilers and geese in Poland gradually grew every year. Consumers are increasingly willing to reach for this noble meat, appreciating above all its excellent taste and nutritional values. In the current situation in the poultry industry competition, poultry producers are constantly looking for a method to increase the efficiency of their production. The genotype and the environment are the basic conditions for obtaining high-quality carcases. The profitability of breeding ducks and geese can be increased by using modern devices to facilitate the operation of bird rooms and reducing labour costs. The equipment in the hall must facilitate efficient provision of water and feed adapted to the requirements of poultry, provide high comfort through appropriate heating, lighting and ventilation, and if necessary, effective cooling of the room. The proposed solutions not only guarantee the success of the whole farm, but also reduce the workload and provide the possibility of remote monitoring of all production parameters on the farm.
